i'm back!
after a month without computer, i started to appreciate modern advances like internet. god gracious i can now access to internet as and when i like. now first thing to address. never be too contented with what you have as it'll soon be gone.
just last week, i was boasting to jun jie on how carefree my jc life was. the latest lesson ends at 230. on tuesday i just report to school for one lesson. just as i was rejoicing.. ...
time table for this week (which applies to the rest of the term sadly) is a torment for us! monday ends at 6; tuesday ends at 430; wednesday ends at 2; thurdsday 4 and friday 230. now now.. jj's saying of NYJC being NYJC should not end so early had been justified. argh..
for now, grieving over it won't do much help to alleviate. the jc is a fine college. the only issue is on travelling. again, there's no choice. i'll get used to it! cheers for people who need to wake up early in the morning^^
my new cca, or rather CCAs to be exact, are SC (for the time being), Chinese Cultural Club (compulsory for lep students) and photographic society. didnt get to join those that i am interested except for PS. table tennis' trainings end too late, tennis requires a racket, volleyball needs trial (they need school players), dragon-boating is too 'hiong', fierce, kayaking is too time-consuming, piano ensemble won't want noob (i suppose), rugby??.. for that i've got a perfect reason. i can't join:
firstly because of my size. scene 1: i am running with the rugby ball, charging at opponents who are in my way. the moment we collide, the ball will fly. the next thing you know... huilong is at the end of the field.
secondly, my brittle/weak bones. given my condition, the possibility of me getting dislocation is relatively higher than anyone. others dislocate their shoulder, i guess i will break my ribs.
so in the end, i ended up with CCAs that are very 'inactive'. my prospect of being a sportsman
is gone. BUT, someone in my class commented that i have a i-am-a-sportman look. can you believe it? i can't.. still i accepted it =) it's a compliment!
PS: wenson, please don't go "Oh my god, the person must be blind" OR "the person has never seen a sportsman before" after reading
so far so good. one thing that still lingers within me that is, i still miss all my friends. i made friends from many schools yet none can come as close as those in RSS. to all my friends, i miss you guys! even so, one thing for sure, everyone needs to move on. dwelling on the past for now is still all right, i'll know when to pick up and start to blend. in years to come, may all remain good friends for rest of our life.
