thanks god its friday

because it is friday, i have very good mood. there is no school tomorrow and i do not have to wake up at 6. the sky has a lighter shade of blue and even the rain taste sweet.

biology was fun and the tutor is as humourous as ever. the practical lesson became free time for discussion on what to do later on, tomorrow and class outing.

best thing today which brightned my day was : i passed my biological drawing. i do not have to redo! this is such an accomplishment for me because i drew a flower which is non-existent. even with such outrageous 'task-oriented'* attitude, i managed to pass, this is such a blessing for me.

*a nasty word for it is sloppy

another thing that was quite funny - my epithelium (hopefully i got it right) of the onion that i mounted has no colour. it is supposed to be purple in colour. then i realized why, the colour pigment in the cell can fade away when in contact with water.

tutor: how come yours no colour? you peel wrongly is it?
me: can't be. just now still got colour but once i mounted it then the colour disappear already.
after a while
me: i know why already!
tutor: why?
me: because the 'dye' will go off
tutor: where's the dye then?
me: (pointing to my purplish finger) there...

funny thing happened for Maths lecture too..

the lecturer was trying to keep the students in the lecture hall quiet so she shouted. at first she cant hear herself so she was rather pissed off. and. she requested for the volume to be louder. she warned the students that they will never win her mic so they better shut up. but they persist. so she shouted into the mic for the volume to be louder. until a point where the sound was so loud and darn high pitch.

so she carried on with such volume and pitch for about 10mins. in the end she won the war of loudness. we suffered.

even more funny thing happened during LEP lesson..
the teacher played a song, oldies, sang by a choir i supposed. it's listen-able but what makes everyone there laugh was the comment.

teacher: this kind of song then can call song, unlike those stephanie sun..., sing like cannot breathe..
demo by the teacher: xin fu~ xin fu~ (she's practically singing her own version where she chokes at the end of the two words)

we really have funny teachers in NY.

after school meet up with the RS peeps and had this RS gathering suggested by xian. thank you, i appreciate it. cant help to feel the closeness when i saw everyone. it's a mini RS over there. went to john's house, listen to the girls 'bitch' about everything and left with xian.

okay now important craps i need to include:
1) revised shie yar's theorem (something i thought of when i am stone-ing in chemistry lecture - some application skills)

where Wm = weight of moles
W = weight and h = height

2) bimbo's joke
