delusion
when i thought that messing up my chemistry and physics was the worst thing of the week, something more horrifying struck me. i did exceedingly well in my GP test -beamed-
because of that, i got myself into group 6 -beaming still- when there is a need to answer question, the sixers are given the opportunity to pick the question they like. we are the main priority -overwhelming pride-
something worth mentioning is that only 3 people managed to make it to the group, including me. the battle is stiff! - we are now the over-achievers in the class -
okay set aside school stuffs. watched movie with lishi and wenson today. Spiderman 3. it has a good plot but a rather abrupt ending. i got a number of shocks from the movie due to the sound effects. the movie proclaimed everlasting friendship and ester-sweet boy-girl relationship. the graphics were superb and i like the black spidey. SO COOL!
after the movie we had dinner at pasta and strolled to UK funfair. the appealing external was deceiving. take a walk inside and you'll know why. it is not as grand as the last one which was held a few years ago. only a few souls lingering in the compounds and a few deprived souls spending a fortune (maybe not that much) to get themselves some thrill. typical Singaporeans.
we came across this pooh bear. it has a nose that's longer than the norm. so i made a stupid remark on it.. "the pooh lied" i had deprived childhood haha.
now i shall digress. i decided to tell you my score for GP. i can't contain my excitement anymore. i got 1.5/15! isn't it amazing. it's no mean feat okay! my hard work and effort in paying attention during class paid off.
had gastric pain this morning. the pain worsened when i drank a cup of hot milo. the short sharp pain was unbearable.. while traveling to school i felt nauseous and giddy. after settling down in the auditorium, the pain and nauseous feeling subsided. perhaps the milo was countering the gastric haha..
played table tennis with the wall today. spent one hour playing and had a good sweat. i want to play it on the actual table! i will find a way to smuggle myself into the hall and blend in with the table tennis players so that i will get to play on next friday.
i'm getting really random in this few days, weeks and months. just now lishi and wenson was talking about justin. lishi said that he's good-looking and wenson agreed but rebutted that he has no substance. all of a sudden i blurted out something really random:
huilong - when style meets substance!
sounds familiar right. whatever it is, i'm developing a liking for this phrase. totally cool! i like it when it starts to rain, the smell of the air is really nice (according to Mr Cheong, it is the smell of ozone) and the whole atmosphere is so relaxed.
it brings back happy memories.
i like our chemistry lecturer. she's darn funny la! when i walked into the auditorium, i knocked into this group of people. one of them commented "why the lecturer speaks like that huh?" that's something unique about her. the high pitch squeaky voice of hers. very inspiring and it can never put me in dreamland.
when she repeats herself, she tends to go very fast, just like a machine gun. as though she doesn't need to pause to exchange breath and breathe. she's a joker who show no facial expression. today she singled out a girl who had been talking.
the girl, yes you! the one next to the door. talk talk talk. keep talking. i had been looking at you for a long time and you don't stop talking. you want to get out of the auditorium huh?
she was not using any strict tone but a nonchalant one. make it seems like it's her duty to look for at least one of such students in the auditorium, and she is getting tired of repeating the same thing everyday. i can't possibly describe how impressive she is, you will need to experience her prowess yourself. then you can fully understand what i meant.
talking about lecturer reminded me of the maths lecture. jia en was sleeping during the lecture. then towards the end of the lecture, the lecturer said something like ' you cannot afford to sleep during this lecture because differentiation is very important. it links to many other topics! if you sleep now you might as well sleep for the rest of the year."
after he had made his warning, jia en did not bother but continued sleeping. she opened her eyes occasionally and closed them as though they are too heavy to be lifted. LOL throughout the lecture i was laughing the moment i turn to look at her. she got a lot of pose and each and every one of them looks so knowledgeable. she truly impressed me.
