i like children!
on my way back home, i will see children on the MRT. the innocence and purity of these kids never fail to amaze me. they are so naive and it's hurting to know how environment will change them in the future. they will realize that the world is not as beautiful after all.
there was once, because it rained, the boy wore a raincoat and a cap. he was carrying a bag and his raincoat was yellow in colour. so overall, he looked like a duck. oh my god, children are the cutest thing on earth.
there was this man who went to grab the handle then alighted at the next stop. after the train moved, the boy imitated the man. the boy who is small in size looks so minute. he tried to hold onto the handle and when he finally managed to do so, he turned back and smile to his mum.
this innocence that we once possessed was long lost. any teenager spotted doing this might be deemed as irritating and disrespectful. disgusting perhaps. it just so happens that children have the special privillege to be naughty and cheeky yet get away with it.
sometimes, i guess it is time for us to stop complicating our life. lead a simple life, why bother to get all heavy by adding burden to yourself. in the eyes of a child, you see truth and ignorance. in the eyes of an adult, you see lies and disbelief. that's the capability of environment in shaping the nature of human.
sad to say, we always go with the drift and fail to realize the fact that whatever the change, it is irreversible. smile because you feel like, smile like you mean it.
when was the last time we played in the rain? when was the last time we suck a lollipop in our mouth? when was the last time we crawl on the floor on all four? when was the last time we look at the camera and give a smile right from the bottom of the heart? when was it...
it had been long forgotten.
