it's 1.41 a.m in the morning, just reached home some 10 mins ago? just cabbed home from bugis! went there to had steamboat with the people doing ushering duty for the F1 event with some F1 photographer.

terk ming, faye and i reached at about 9plus and we waited for nearly one hour for the rest to be done with their camwhoring -.- hungry to the max! while waiting terk ming and i fed faye with lots of ghost stories and at some point of time even i felt the goosebumps.

and they finally came out after calling them for around 6 times?
diana was there too and we didnt realize until hui qun went over to look for her. she said she could hear the three of us while we were talking earlier. melvrick, ben, azri, hui qun and diana went home first leaving bryan, kathy and yiyao.

headed for bugis but turned out walking towards raffles city because the one leading the way was faye! so we made a detour and decided we should stick to steamboat and cab home after the meal. after walking for a while, finally we saw the light. found ourselves a steamboat place with air-conditioner and ate there.

at first we all were waiting... waiting for the food to be served. no one moved but in the end it was supposed to be 'buffet' style. you get your own food and throw (put) it into the boiling soup. we had both chicken soup and spicy (ma la) soup for base. sheesh. i tried a piece of vegetable dipped in the spicy soup base and i sweared that i will never touch the soup.

i dont know it was only for me or what.. it was super spicy and my lips were swollen. i was amazed by how kathy and faye could just slot food from the spicy soup base into their mouth one after another. my mouth felt numbed after tasting the soup, it was only a fraction of it -.-

so we tucked in, chatted and ate more food than ever. it seemed as though the chicken soup was for herbivores and spicy soup was for carnivores. there was a distinction. veggie found in chicken soup and meat found in spicy soup. when we finally stopped eating, we had our serving of watermelon (how healthy) and then we called it a day!

it's kinda crazy to eat steamboat on a weekday and tomorrow (or rather today) is still a school day. but it was fun! well rather enjoyable and crazy. not much time left for us to do crazy things with our remaining school days! everything is kinda random!
gosh! i hate taxi uncle who purposely asks which route do you wanna take.
firstly, if you are so keen on cheating our money then please take the longer route, and dont ask.
secondly, if you are really so desperate, please don't tell me you like to go by cte after i am like reaching woodlands via pie.
thirdly, don't tell me that i should drop at chua chu kang first after i made the decision to stop and woodlands first when i first stepped into the taxi and after the road sign for chua chu kang flashed past for at least a freaking 15 secs.
fourthly, please don't ask me whether i want to exit from ave 2 or ave 3 when i told you i want to exit from the sports school side which you know full well is ave 2.

thanks for bringing singapore's service to greater heights by providing every single alternatives possible. i am not pissed about the fact that you want to earn more money but really, it's your ooops-i-don't-know attitude that irked me.

conclusion: cte is a cheaper route to reach woodlands.

end product: a total mess and loads of tissue papers here and there. uneaten tongs, 4 boxes of tissue papers which we 'kope' from other table.
